Sweta Kumari has extensive experience in the area of labour migration. For several years, she worked with the Safer Migration (SaMi) Programme at the Migration Resource Center (MRC), Janakpur, Dhanusha, as a Case Counsellor, where she was responsible for counselling and training prospective and returnee migrant workers and their families. Through this work, she acquired a wide range of experience in community facilitation. In addition to migration, she has collaborated with different organisations on nutrition, reproductive health and disaster response programmes.
