Evaluation of MEG’s Activities in the Field of Regular Migration in Nepal

This evaluation will assess the impacts and outcomes of the capacity-building training sessions provided by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security (MoLESS) and the “Shaping Development-Oriented Migration” (MEG) programme, implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), to key state and non-state actors involved in migration governance in Nepal, including migration-related advisory bodies. The evaluation seeks to document the results of these capacity-building exercises by engaging with participating Migrant Resource Centre (MRC) Counsellors, Employment Service Center (ESC) coordinators, and other beneficiaries who attended the training and accompanying workshop, with an emphasis on their knowledge expansion and overall utility of the training, as well as the improvements in the quality of migration-related advisory services available to aspirant and current migrant workers through these MRCs and ESCs.
