Migrant Workers’ Recruitment in Nepal: A Schism Between Law and Reality

The brief discusses the recruitment process undertaken by Nepali migrant workers and analyses the effectiveness of various laws, policies and restrictions enforced by the government of Nepal. It is based on data gathered by PNCC during the registration of grievances by migrant workers at the organisation, comprising a total of 15,340 cases since 2014.
