KATHMANDU, Aug 4: Applications for South Korea’s Employment Permit System (EPS) language test will open from August 11.
HRD Korea has not disclosed which sectors the test will cover or how many workers will be recruited.
South Korea has been hiring foreign workers in sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture and shipbuilding.
The South Korean government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Nepal in 2007 to recruit workers under the EPS system, and the recruitment process has been ongoing since 2008.
