KATHMANDU, Aug 17: A worker has died after falling from the roof of a house under construction in Chandragiri-15, Kathmandu. According to the District Police Range, Kathmandu, the deceased is 44-year-old Arna Thapa Magar of Panchakanya Rural Municipality-1 in Nuwakot.
Police reported that Magar fell off the roof of the second floor while painting the house and was injured. He was taken to Sahid Memorial Hospital in Kalanki, where he died during treatment.
The body of the deceased has been sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj for a postmortem. Further investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
