KATHMANDU, May 16: The Nepali Embassy in Saudi Arabia has started repatriating Nepali workers who lost their jobs at Sendan International Company in Jubail.
As the employer company faces collapse, it has left 469 Nepali workers jobless. Several workers have approached the embassy, requesting help to recover unpaid wages and benefits, return to Nepal, or transfer to other companies. In response, the embassy has actively engaged in diplomatic efforts to address their concerns.
The embassy has already sent the necessary documents to the relevant Saudi labor office to process exit visas for those who want to return home.
It has formally requested Saudi authorities to expedite exit visa approvals, especially for workers from Sendan International Company, and has taken steps to support the process.
