11 more Nepali nationals rescued from Afghanistan arrive in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Sept 10: An additional 11 Nepali nationals rescued from Afghanistan landed at Tribhuvan International Airport on Thursday.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a total of 906 Nepalis have been brought home with assistance from friendly nations as of Thursday. 

Rescue operation for the Nepali nationals living in Afghanistan continues with the assistance of friendly nations. “We are coordinating with authorities concerned to rescue more Nepali nationals wanting to return home,” the ministry said in a statement.
