Workers robbed

Three migrant workers returning home from India were robbed in Kanchanpur on Monday. Dev Bahadur Rana, Dalbir Rana and Nandaram Rana of Salyan were looted at Brahmadev Bazaar in Bimdatta Municipality while returning home from India. According to police, the robbers had treated them with booze laced with drugs and fled with over Rs 85,000 after they fell unconscious. Police said those involved in robbery cases were being interrogated. “On our way home, our friends were given liquor laced with drugs. The robbers then fled with their money,” said Gangaram Rana of Salyan, who was also returning home from India. The three are being treated at Mahakali Zonal Hospital, police said. - HNS.
