The Nepali government has urged its citizens working in Malaysia to follow the labour laws of the destination. Nepali workers in Malaysia have started protesting after the Malaysian government started deducting the levy from their salaries according to the new minimum wage policy adopted in January, 2013. Issuing a press statement, the Nepali embassy in the destination has said that it is in talks with Malaysian authorities to find an amicable solution to the issue.
