A person working at Ghorahi Cement Factory in Laxmipur of Dang district was beaten to death.

According to District Police Office, Dang, a group of local youths battered Khem Raj Subedi hailing from Lamahi of Narayanpur VDC.

Local youths, who barged into the cement factory on Monday evening without permission, had thrashed Subedi leaving him critically injured.

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment in Rapti sub-regional hospital, police informed.

Police started investigation into the incident by arresting six suspects, said Dang Police Chief, Ganesh Bahadur Eire.
