UK visa fraudster jailed

A fraudster who swindled almost £11,000 from Nepali woman Jyoti Shrestha in the UK has been jailed for five years by Britain’s Glaslow Sheriff Court.

Jack Plancey (68) had collected £30,000 from several other innocent people including the Nepali citizen who trusted him to apply for visas to allow them to stay back in the UK, British media reported. Shrestha had explained to the court how he duped her assuring that he would apply for British citizenship on her behalf and get work permits for her relatives.
