Metropolitan Police Crime Division in association with the Department of Foreign Employment raided a rented room in Putalisadak and arrested two Ukrainian nationals, including a woman, for allegedly defrauding several persons of cash with the promise of work visa to Poland. The duo, who were on tourist visa, were found working in Nepal as officials of a company ‘People Work Group' registered with the Office of Company Registrar. According to Metropolitan Police Crime Division, the company had mentioned in a document submitted to the OCR that its objectives were ‘to work in the field of software and information technology.'
