A Saudi national who recruits Nepali housemaids was kidnapped and held for a week in Kathmandu, the Saudi Gazette reported. Relatives of Nepali housemaids stranded in Saudi Arabia organised the plot to bring their family members back to the country. The agent communicated with their friends and provided a safe passage to the stranded women. The agent was released after one housemaid reached Kathmandu.
