The Special Court on Thursday sought one million rupees bail from suspended director general of Department of Foreign Employment Bishwa Raj Pandey, who has been indicted in a corruption case. The court sought one million rupees bail from other two employees of the Department of Foreign Employment Kirti Ballav Paudel and Khadak Bahadur KC, who have also been indicted in the same corruption case. Spokesperson for the Special Court Nagendra Keshari Pokharel said all three accused were released from custody after they posted the bail amount demanded by the court. According to Pokharel, the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority allegedly arrested Paudel and KC with one million rupees bribe money.
