National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) will organise an international conference on migrant rights on November 26-27 in Kathmandu. National human rights institutions of the Asia-Pacific region will participate in the conference that aims to build a close network among them regarding migrant rights issues. About 50 delegates from various nations will participate in the conference. According to NHRC, the conference will highlight migrant rights as the key issue of the country and the Asia-Pacific where the outflow of migrants in search of better opportunities has been increasing.
