Nepali worker dies in gas cylinder explosion in South Korea

A Nepali migrant worker has died in an industrial accident in Miryang (often spelled Milyang), in Gyeongsangnam - do Province in South Korea on Tuesday.
 
The deceased, Bal Kumar Rai, 32, of Belbari, Morang, an employee at a company that makes fish food, died after a gas cylinder exploded on Monday morning. Rai’s colleague Suresh Rajbanshi, informed that the victim was taken to Busan Hospital immediately after the incident where he was declared dead. Rai’s body is being kept at the hospital. Rai, who had arrived at South Korea under the EPS system three years ago, is survived by a wife and a son.
 
Earlier, on June 13, another Nepali migrant worker, Bal Bahadur Gurung of Bajhpatan, Pokhara had died in South Korea. His body is also yet to be sent back to Nepal.
