Nepali murdered in Mumbai

A Nepali national from Dadeldhudra district was murdered in Mumbai, India. The deceased has been identified as Yogendra Paneru, 26, of Kailapalmandau VDC, according to police in the district.

According to the bereaved family, Paneru had left for Mumbai in Nomember last year in search of employment. Chandra Kanta Hamal, a relative of the deceased, informed that Yogendra was attacked by unidentified assailants while returning to his rented room from work.

He worked in a hotel at Kalyan City of Mumbai. Police informed that the attackers were motorcycle-borne and they attacked him from the backside.

A seriously injured Yogendra had been admitted to a government hospital by Indian police. Indian police said they have been unable to find out the motive behind the attack.
