Nepali migrant stranded in Saudi

A Nepali migrant worker has been left stranded in Saudi Arabia for the last five months. Forty-two-year-old Hari Prasad Neupane of Aayabari in Mechinagar-7, Jhapa, told over phone that his employer of nearly three years was not allowing him to return home even though he has been sick for the last five months. Neupane, who is employed by a construction company, said that he did not have enough money to go see a doctor, let alone buy an airline ticket. Neupane had lodged a complaint at the Nepali Embassy a few months ago, but there has been no response so far. (PR)
