Nepali employee stabs co-worker to death
A Nepali employee in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) allegedly stabbed a fellow co-worker to death following a heated argument over an issue on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Chandra Bahadur Thapa of Sandikharka of Arghakanchi and the murderer has been identified as Eak Bahadur Basyal of Arghakanchi.
Both the employees were working at the same company for the past six years, said mediaperson Umakanta Pandey.
They were working at Abudabi-based All Hulas General Constructing Company of UAE. They were enjoying in a camp organised by the company on Thursday and both were in a drunken state.
Thapa died of excessive bleeding on the spot as Basyal stabbed him in stomach several times, said Pandey.
Abudabi police arrested the accused murderer Basyal along with his friends who were living with him. All other Nepali workers of the company have been transferred to another company.
