Minister vows to bring new policy on foreign job

The government has been taking initiative to remove additional fees for visa charge being taken from laborers going for foreign countries for employment.

Speaking at an interaction here on Monday, Minister for Labour and Transport Management, Sarita Giri said that the Ministry has been doing necessary home work to remove illegal charge from laborers as visa charge. Visas have been provided by foreign employment providing countries free of cost through the government and foreign employment companies.

Minister Giri further said she has directed the Department of Labour to take legal action against those companies which have been involved in cheating labourers luring them to provide attractive salaries.

She added that initiative has been taken to resolve different problems including releasing Nepali workers who are in jails of foreign countries, bringing dead bodies of workers in the Country, and solving problems of women workers.

Minister Giri further said that new policy is going to be formulated to make the foreign employment a systematic one.
