Minister Urges Agitating Manpower Agencies to Continue Service
Minister for Labour and Employment Dipak Bohara, held a talk with the agitating foreign employment entrepreneurs and discussed how the activities of the manpower agencies could be made friendly to the foreign employment seekers.
The meeting was held in the wake of the agitation launched by the foreign employment entrepreneurs after the police raided 18 offices of the manpower agencies and detained some proprietors. Since then, the agencies have not been providing regular service.
General Secretary of the Foreign Employment Association Rohan Gurung said, both the government and the entrepreneurs put forth their views at the meeting today. The talk would continue tomorrow.
