Migrants die in accident

Three Nepali construction workers were killed and 13 injured when a minivan carrying them met with an accident in Qatar on Tuesday, The Peninsula reported. The minivan had hit a side wall on Salwa Road after tyre-burst. The vehicle was carrying 16 workers — all Nepalis, said the newspaper. They were returning from their work site in Doha to their accommodation in Al Sailiya, one of the injured Nepali workers was quoted by The Peninsula. According to The Peninsula, the deceased have been identified as Krishna Raj Banshi, Paspal Dhamal and Brijnath Pandit, all between 35 and 40 years of age. All the others in the van were injured, at least five of them seriously.
