A national conference on youth migration, held in the Capital on Monday, issued a declaration demanding the government to immediately ratify the United Nations Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families, and Convention on Domestic Workers.

The declaration also urged the government to allocate resources and develop mechanisms for the implementation of national youth policies and programmes.

It urged the government to facilitate the return of Nepali migrants, who have been languishing in foreign prisons.
