IME hands over Rs 30k

International Money Express (IME), a remittance company, has provided financial assistance of Rs 30,000 from its welfare fund to the families of two deceased migrant workers, namely, Khadga Bahadur Pithakoti of Lumde, Ilam, and Bishnu Prasad Acharya of Terhthum. The amount was formally handed over by Satish Verma, IME´s finance controller, Daniel D Shretha, marketing head, and Rudra Paudel, agent networking manager, amidst a program held in Kathmandu, says a company statement. Pithakoti and Acharya had lost their lives while working in Qatar. IME has set up a fund to financially support migrant workers injured in accidents during the course of work in Malaysia and Gulf countries.
