Gyawali, Abdullah hold talks

Minister of Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali held a telephone conversation with Dato Saifuddin Abdullah, the newly appointed foreign minister of Malaysia,on Thursday and requested the latter to remove exorbitant charges imposed on Nepali migrant workers during the course of their recruitment.
 
Minister Gyawali congratulated Abdullah on being appointed as the foreign minister. Both ministers discussed the relationship between Nepal and Malaysia and agreed to further consolidate the bilateral relationship.
 
They also discussed the contribution of Nepali migrant workers in Malaysia. Abdullah assured that he would look into the problems faced by Nepali workers there. Gyawali also invited Abdullah to visit Nepal, said the MoFA.
