Finance Minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat has urged Non-Resident Nepalis to utilize their entrepreneurship, skill and creativity in nation building.

Addressing a reception organized by the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) and Nepali Business Association, Belgium during his Europe visit, Mahat said that Nepal has tremendous potentials and resources to foster economic growth. "Nepal can get prosperity through agricultural commercialization and the development of energy sector and tourism sector," the press release issued by NRNA-Belgium quoted Mahat as saying.

He added that the Nepalis to need to put an end to the culture of staging strikes if they want economic transformation propelled by development projects and industries.

The Finance Ministry has set investment friendly environment through promotion of the private sector as a top priority for the economic growth, Mahat added.
