The Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi organised a Deusi- Bhailo programme last week to celebrate Deepawali with the Nepali community residing in New Delhi. Nine groups of around 500 Nepalis participated in the programme that Chargé d’Affaires KN Adhikari and other embassy staff attended, the embassy said. The groups also performed cultural programmes representing different parts of Nepal. The embassy organises Deusi-Bhailo programmes every year to promote and protect Nepali culture and festivals.
