Child traffickers made public

Police made child traffickers public at a press meet organised in District Police Office, Morang, on Wednesday. They were arrested while taking street children to India. Acting on a tip-off, the police team with the help of an organisation - Sana Haatharu - arrested the traffickers from Jogbani boarder on Monday night. The arrested have been identified as Manjit Singh, 31, of Murdawa Paitagram, India; Raju Bhandari, 26, and Suraj Rishidev of Itahari municipality, Sunsari. SP Arun Kumar BC said the police team arrested the traffickers while they were taking three children of 14 years age group from Itahari. SP BC said the traffickers had also taken as many as 10 children to India earlier.
