Bangladeshi entrepreneurs in Hetauda

Hetauda, Dec. 9: A delegation from the Bangladesh-Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BNCCI) discussed investments, labour markets and other aspects related to business with Bangladeshi entrepreneurs during a meeting held at the Makwanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) in Hetauda on Thursday.

A team of four Bangladeshi businessmen led by BNCCI senior vice president Nabin Thapa had arrived in Hetauda. Thapa informed that it was the first institutional visit of Bangladeshi entrepreneurs and it would assist in the study of possibilities in investment and business.

Stating that there are skilled labourers in Bangladesh, he said commercial cooperation could be promoted with Nepali entrepreneurs. Krishna Kumar Gupta, MCCI president, urged Bangladeshi entrepreneurs to expand business relationships for industrial and business development. Arunraj Sumargi, former president MCCI, said that they could get information on small enterprises, agriculture and the garment industry from Bangladesh. BNCCI’s Director Mohammad Khairul Bashar along with Bangladeshi entrepreneurs Mohammad Faruqi, Mohammad Harun Rashid and Fahid Ahmad had arrived in Hetauda.
