Israeli government has decided harsh punishment to illegal migrant workers. Israeli parliament has approved the new penalties law last week which allows law enforcement authorities to imprison illegal migrants for an unlimited time without trial.

The laws could also punish Israeli people who helped them stay illegally. According to the law, people caught helping illegal migrant workers could face fine up to $18,000 or prison terms of up to 15 years or both.

About 50,000 African and some 15,000 Asian are believed in illegal status in Israel.
