Four girls rescued

District Police Office, Dailekh rescued four girls from the entrance at Jamunaha on the Nepal-India border and handed them over to their parents on today. 

Bal Kumari KC (14), Sapana BK (15), Kamala KC (15) and Kalpana BK (14) were rescued yesterday. DSP Sudarshan Thapa said the girls were being taken by Ramesh Bahadur Shahi (30) of Dailekh who is working in the Indian Army with the assurance of employment for the girls in Varanasi-based Ching Beauty Parlor. Police have detained Shahi as well. 

The girls belong to economically backward families. District Police Office had processed the investigation when Balkumari’s father, Thir Bahadur had filed a complaint in the office seeking rescue of the girls on May 28.
