5 Nepalis killed on Qatar road

Five Nepali migrant workers were killed when a speeding four-wheeler ran them over in Lusail City in Doha on Friday. One Indian national was also killed in the incident. 
 
Indradev Pandey, labour attaché of the Nepali Embassy, said the dead Nepalis were identified as Bivekanand Sah of Rautahat, Ramchandra Mahato of Mahottari, Arjun Gautam of Gorkha, and Asharam Tharu and Patbari Chaudhary of Bardiya. Their bodies are kept at Hamad Hospital. Aitabari Chaudhary of Bardiya fractured his leg. He said they were waiting for a bus on a roadside when the vehicle swerved off the course and hit them. Traffic accident is one of the causes of death among migrant workers in Qatar, said Pandey.
