‘Employment opportunities to rise in five years’

Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security Gokarna Bista today, at the inauguration of the Labour and Employment Office in Gandaki Province, said the compulsion the youth of our country felt to go abroad for employment opportunities will end within the next five years, as the government is preparing to implement job programmes especially targeting youths. He said the government is doing its best to utilise available human resources of the country by mobilising youths in various sectors, including agriculture. To facilitate aspiring foreign migrant workers, the government will be establishing labour and employment offices in all seven provinces along with employment service centres in all 753 local units, he said.
